Keerthy Suresh

Keerthy Suresh (born 17 October 1992) is an Indian actress, who is primarily in Tamil as well as Telugu films in addition to some Malayalam films. The actress was awarded the National Film Award's Best Actress award for portraying Savitri the actor in the Telugu film Mahanati (2018). The other awards she received comprise three SIIMA Awards, a Filmfare Award South and three SIIMA Awards. Keerthy Kumar Suresh is actor Menaka G. Suresh's daughter. Her first acting experience began in the mid 2000s. In 2013, she played the role of lead actress in Geethaanjali which was a film in Malayalam. She went on to star in successful films such as Ring Master (2014), Rajinimurugan (2016), Remo (2016), Bairavaa (2017), Nenu Local (2017), Sandakozhi 2 (2018), Mahanati (2018), Sarkar (2018), Sandakozhi 2 (2018), Penguin (2020), Miss India (2021), Good Luck Sakhi (2022) and Sarkaru Vaari Paata (2022). Keerthy's first film outside Malayalam was Idhuenna Maayam (2015), opposite Vikram Prabhu. It didn't do well in the theater. Although the movie did poorly in the theaters the film she made her debut in came from A. A. Vijay's romantic comedy Idhu Enna Maayam (2005) that she was in alongside Vikramprabhu. Her busy schedule throughout 2015 resulted in her having choose to stay out of movies which she had already started working on, including Krishna's Maane Thaene Paeye as well as Deekay's Kavalai Vendam, to be able to accommodate bigger projects. She then worked in Rajini Murugan's Remo and Remo in two film. Additionally, Dhanush and she played leading roles in Prabhu Solomon's Thodari. Although the release date of Janakitho Nenu has not been announced, it is reported that it could release in September 2020. The first film to debut came out as Nenu Sailaja in the year 2016 with actor Ram Pothineni. In January of 2017, Keerthy appeared in Bairavaa with actor Vijay and produced by Bharathan.
